Japanese Setting

Description

Liv doll Katie (which I renamed Cassandre) in my very own Japanese setting. I made the Kimono, Sushi preparation board and the screen. I finished the screen only today after nearly three days of work. You can see a closeup of the sushi tray by clicking here [link]

The changing screen was made with wood and tracing paper (to give it the right feel and look).

The tray was made with wood, Sculpey clay, cardboard, micro beads and some TLS.

The kimono...well, used cotton since I could not get silk. ;) It is hand-stitched by me! :)

Oh, I used a free pattern I found on this site [link]
to make the kimono (but the obi -belt- is entirely my design).

Since it's cotton, it could be considered a yukata. I've seen pics of yukata with furisode type sleeves. It must be some modern Japanese fashion trend.
You did a great job!
I also posted pics of my own Katie doll in a pink yukata i made. I posted 22 of them.
