Making 1:24 Scale Shingles with Veneer ribbon

My father has given me some veneer and that veneer ribbon makes it perfect for me to use as shingles. It is 3/4" large and to make the shingles I cut them 1/2". It is real wood, just thin enough to cut with scissors. It doesn't split when you cut it and it is easy to glue with Tacky Glue. Veneer can be painted or dyed if desired.
