Yep, I'm done gluing the 1600+ tiles for the rooftop and currently am painting it! Then I will only have to finish the chimney and the outside will be almost finished. I only have the doors and windows to add to say I am done with the outside altogether. :)

The wood I used for the roof actually were coffee stirrers. The main source of wood is the dollar store; coffee stirrers, popsicle sticks, the likes of it. =P They are not expensive and easy to work with. :)
I do have a few planks of basswood, but I use those only when I can't make something out of sticks, because I really don't have much of them and getting those is hard because the store is quite far from my home.

Anything can be used, with a little of imagination. I often suggest to use wood from orange boxes to the ones who asks me where they can finds wood.
