It is such a long (but fun) process. I don't know how many coffee stirrers I used but do believe me, it is a lot! =P
If you ask yourself these questions: Do I cut and stain them one by one? The answer is Yes... :D
I wonder if it's insanity or a result of my passion or both, lol I sure am happy with the way this is coming along. :)

Your houses are awesome and I'm really enjoying the WIP shots as I'd like to try making one this way as well. Any thoughts, hints, or suggestions?

Aww thank you so much! :)

My advice would be; don't try painting directly on foam core! lol It won't take the moisture of the pain all too well. It will deform and ruin your work. If you want a "painted" wall, I suggest you take a piece of wood the size of the wall you want to paint and add paint to it before slipping the piece into place. :)
Also, Tacky Glue, though I little more expensive than regular school/white glue, is the best choice! Hot glue and foam does not cooperate so well and white glue is not sturdy enough! :)

If you have any questions at all, do feel free to ask me! :)
